Drupal 7 is easier to use than Drupal 6 was. But if we want to make building and managing Drupal sites an intuitive, delightful experience, especially for people who are new to the community, we still have a long way to go.

This session will present results from formal usability tests (performed at the University of Minnesota in May of this year) which give us an overwhelming trove of evidence about how the usability improvements added to Drupal 7 helped make the experience for new site builders better, as well as areas where Drupal still falls alarmingly short.

We'll discuss the priorities we should focus on as a community going forward, the status of current efforts, and how you can get involved in making Drupal's user experience the best it can be.
