Having dealt with web development for over 12 years, search engines have gotten more sophisticated since the early days of keyword stuffing to more advanced and stealth techniques of today. Most web developers today turn a blind eye on the full story of seo as most people are in the camp of being "white hat" only. Understanding both sides of the seo spectrum is a double edged sword.

In my session I will go over the history of SEO and how it has evolved to some of the advanced techniques being deployed by big fortune 500 companies today.
